Holidays: Treasure the Present Moment
Pause for Wonder
Dear Readers,
As part of my holiday capsule from my digital treasure chest, I’m happy to share a simple thought for today’s post:
I cherish the present moment, knowing that one day, when my time here is done, there will still be countless books I haven’t read, places I haven’t explored, and melodies I haven’t heard. There will be words left unspoken, souls I didn’t get to touch, silent moments I didn’t pause to savour, and cloud shapes I never stopped to admire.
But that day is not today.
Today, I embrace the endless possibilities of the present.
As Christmas approaches, I am grateful for the opportunity—through these weekly posts—to have reconnected with people and friends I hadn’t spoken to in years. I’m also grateful for the new friends I’ve made along the way. Writing and sharing with you brings me much joy.
