Maybe one day you should write your entire family biography. Couldn’t put this reading on hold. That’s how interesting it was. Thanks for sharing this.

Come la canzona:

Paese mio che stai sulla collina

disteso come un vecchio addormentato

la noia l'abbandono

niente son la tua malattia

paese mio ti lascio e vado via.

Hi Tino, Your son Kevin looks so much like you! I remember you at that age. I believe you and I know each other for some 45-50 years right?

When I visited the cemetery for the first time and saw the Rossini family crypt I was quite emotional. I never thought that I did not belong to Canada, I am Canadian and proud of it. But as I stood in front of our grandparent’s resting place in the village where I was born I felt a belonging, my roots are here.

What a great time you had sharing your upbringing with your son and daughter in law. I bet you are excited for this grandchild to arrive. I gather this is thru first time your son has been to your birthplace? I’ll have a berry gelato thank you 🍧
