Je n’ai jamais couru de marathon mais pendant une dizaine d’années j’ai fait le 10K du marathon des Deux-Rives à Québec. La première fois, à l’arrivée, j’ai ressenti une émotion si forte que, lorsque j’y repense des années plus tard, j’en ai encore les larmes aux yeux. Alors, je peux très bien comprendre ce que tu as vécu d’autant plus que tu étais dans ton pays d’origine. Et les sensations physiques devaient être tellement plus fortes à cause de l’épuisement! J’ai bien ri lorsque tu racontes que tu n’avais pas vérifié qu’il y avait un demi marathon! Félicitations pour cette expérience et ton texte magnifique.

A wonderful story! Congratulations for finishing, that took a lot of will, both mental and physical! I'm not a runner, but my husband is, and to a point I can understand the amount of pain you had to be in.

But that moment at the Duomo... Bravo!
